Joyce Update December 22, 2010

Dear friends and family,  We are settled into our new house.  I love
it here.  We are now surrounded by nature instead of a cement wall.
God has given us this property to be stewards over.  There is a big
building on it that we will use for the Huaronis to come and stay.
Already some have come, but they stay at the house, as the dorm is not
ready yet.  There are fruit trees, it is great being able to pick our
own fruit!  Also, there is a fish pond, chicken coops, and a place for
pigs.  We will be getting tilapia soon, and chickens later on. I would
really like sheep instead of pigs, but we will see.  I also planted
lettuce, and there is room for tomatoes and other things.  It all
takes time, working on the property keeps the boys busy all day.
Steve just got back from a week in the jungle.  He had a good time,
and I know the people were blessed by him being there.  Also, he
brought back word that our house in the jungle is finished.  I'm not
sure what God has in mind for us as far as a time to go there.  We are
just finding out about a way I may be able to go in, it is by canoe.
It takes about 6 or 8 hours.  This is good as neither  flying nor
walking are an option for me.  Mark wants to make a trip in January.
I pray that everyone has a nice holiday with family and friends.  I
miss everyone. Love, Joyce
¨¨May we who know Christ hear the cry of the damned as they hurtle
headlong into the Christless night without ever a chance.  May we be
moved with compassion as our Lord was.  May we shed tears of
repentance for those we have failed to bring out of darkness.  Beyond
the smiling scenes of Bethlehem may we see the crushing agony of
Golgotha.  May God give us a new vision of His will and our
responsibility.  Nate Saint
